I SELECTED Debi Shank from a number of candidates to edit, format and print my mother’s book, “I Was Here First!” My mother was 92 years old at the time and needed someone with both patience and skill to finish writing the book, design the front and back covers, organize dozens of photos, format the text, develop the book layout and coordinate with (Sacramento Library’s) iStreet Press for printing.
